Norfolk Harborfest is held annually at Town Point Park in Norfolk, VA which is about 25 miles away from Sandbridge. This year, Norfolk Harborfest kicks off on Friday June 8th at noon with the Parade of Sail. This year, the parade will be led by Schooner Virginia. The festival will include musical performances by both local and national recording artists including American Authors who will take the stage on Friday night. After the concert, make sure to hang around for fireworks at 9:30pm. Other acts/attractions include The Shadow Players, a navy dive tank, boardwalk arcade, and The Real Mermaids. Make sure to quench your thirst at the Harborfest Virginia Wine and Beer Garden. There will also be over 50 food trucks/stands available. Offerings will include fresh crab cakes, fried oysters, bbq, sausages, gyros, burgers, hot dogs, and so much more.

Friday: Noon-11pm (Parade of Sail at noon)

Saturday: Noon-11pm (Fireworks at 9:30pm)

Sunday: 10am-6pm

The North American Sand Soccer Championships (NASSC) takes place June 8-10 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. That NASSC is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. An anticipated 200,000 participants and spectators are expected to attend the world's largest sand soccer festival. The focus is mainly on sand soccer but there will also be co-ed flag football, knockerball, and sand hockey being played on the sand. There is a Beer Garden as well which will be open from 11am-10pm.
