You will FALL in love with the contemporary, open floor plan of this top floor unit that has one of the few oversized balconies and is also one of the only units available with full views to the oceanside and bay area as well as the outdoor pool courtyard.

This truly rare gem includes many unique touches throughout like multiple windows to invite natural light in, beautiful hardwood floors, and enough comfortable seating for the whole family. The Mac Shack also comes equipped with everything you need to enhance your stay, such as games, books and DVDs to premium, cable channels, CD player with speakers and various DVD movies for evening or rainy day entertainment.

In the open floor plan living and dining room, there is enough comfortable seating for the entire family, a large flat screen TV with premium cable channels, a large dining room table, and separate desk area for computer/laptop use. There is also one of the two private balcony access' included right off the dining area. Next to the dining area, there is a full size kitchen equipped with all granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. We have provided everything your family needs to cook their own meals from basic cookware, appliances, and meal ware for all.

Right off the kitchen is the first Master Suite which includes a comfortable King Size bed, dresser storage and closet space, a private bathroom, and the second access to the private balcony. There are gorgeous floor to ceiling windows which provides natural lighting as you wake up to the warm sun rising over the ocean waves.

In the second and third bedrooms, there is enough sleeping arrangements to accompany a family of 6. The second bedroom provides a Queen size bed and the third has two Twin Size beds. There is a private bathroom in the second suite and both bedrooms include dresser, ample closet space and beach themed decor.

You’ll certainly appreciate the conveniently located garage level storage closet that we have provide as well as the two assigned parking spaces which are located right next the elevator for easy access. At pool level in both buildings, you will find outdoor viking style grills and teak style seating for the whole family.

Enjoy the local Golf Courses here in Virginia Beach such as: the National, Heron Ridge, Red Wing and Owls Creek, all located within the city limits. There is also a local fishing pier within walking distance for great ocean fishing and dolphin watching. While here, you can also walk right across the street to rent jet skis, kayaks, or pontoons for a day on the bay or visit the locals favorite restaurant and lounge "Baja". At the Baja on most summer nights you will find a great local band performing live while you sip margaritas and watch the beautiful sun setting over the Bay.

The Sanctuary is truly a hidden gem in secluded Sandbridge adjacent to False Cape State Park and the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and is Virginia's only Luxury Oceanfront Condominium Complex in the heart of Sandbridge. Use of condo amenities include: 3 Outdoor Swimming Pools (open mid-May to mid-September), 2 Indoor Fitness Centers, and a seasonal Hot Tub (ONLY open mid-September to mid-May). Free WIFI. Limit 2 Parking Passes Per Unit. No Smoking (only in designated garage areas) and sorry but No Pets allowed.

Please note: The Sanctuary Hot Tubs will not be opening in 2021.

There is elevator construction happening in Building A, to be completed in two phases. They will be replacing two elevators in each phase.

Phase 1: replacement of Elevators 2 and 3
Phase 2: replacement of Elevators 1 and 4
Please be prepared for loud drilling and construction during this project.

Other projects including painting and breezeway remediation are scheduled to begin in February 2022 and end in June 2022.

The roof replacement project on Building A is primarily scheduled to occur between October 2021 and May 2022. An allowance of weather or construction delays should be taken into consideration. Dates are subject to change but should not affect summer rentals. Please ask our staff for the most up to date information.

The unit was very spacious and modern. It had everything we needed. The ability to look left off the balcony to see the ocean or look right and see the bay was really special. The location was perfect for walking to the pier for fishing or to our see our friends who were staying in a house. Another guest in a different unit parked in our designated parking spot and we had to wait until we could reach the office to find out the find out the procedure. The office will have it towed. Although we were highly annoyed they parked in our spot we didn’t want someone to get towed while on vacation so we had to go to their unit and get them to move. Their excuse was that they assumed they could park next to each other. This was all very frustrating. I wish this was better enforced by management and not left to the guests. Maybe signs in the garage, at check in, near the elevators and highlighted more on the info packed. A bigger warning on the actual pass that is given to each car to only use assigned spaces.
