Salt Therapy – A Refreshing Oceanfront Escape

Nestled within the Sanctuary at False Cape, this oceanfront community retreat offers the perfect balance of serenity and luxury, allowing you to unwind and recharge with the natural healing power of the sea. What makes Salt Therapy truly special is its prime pool-level courtyard location, providing direct access to one of the community’s pool areas as well as propane grills just steps from the back patio. Unlike upper-level units, there's no need to haul supplies or take a long walk or elevator ride, just step outside the back door and indulge in the convenience of a quick dip or outdoor cooking.

Inside, the inviting and well-appointed interiors create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a sun-soaked day at the beach. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and private en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements with a bunk bed, trundle bed, and a standalone full-sized bed. A comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional space, and for families, a collapsible crib and child highchair are available.

To make your beach days even more effortless, Salt Therapy provides beach chairs, an umbrella/cabana, a cooler, and a beach cart for guests to use. If the sand gets too crowded, enjoy the pools, the hot tub, or take a break in one of the two on-site libraries.

The kitchen, thoughtfully stocked with nearly everything you could need, allows you to prepare meals with ease. The dining table seats six, and the bar area accommodates four, making it the perfect setting for gathering over breakfast or sharing stories from the day. With a dishwasher, toaster, waffle maker, coffee machine, margarita machine, and Ninja blender, you have all the essentials for a stress-free and enjoyable stay.

Entertainment is never in short supply, with a large 75” Smart TV in the living room and two 55” TVs in the bedrooms, all equipped with Disney+, Netflix, and free high-speed internet. A Nintendo Switch, board games, and books provide endless indoor fun, while a Bluetooth speaker and ceiling fans add to your comfort.

The resort itself is an oasis of comfort, featuring three swimming pools, including one with a swim-up bar overlooking the ocean, as well as a large hot tub available during the off-season from October through May. The community pools are open annually from late May through late August, weather permitting. For those who love to stay active, the complex also offers two well-equipped fitness centers. All pools and other amenities are open at the discretion of the Condo Association.

Please note that structural maintenance may take place during the off-season (October to mid-May), limiting balcony, patio and courtyard access for safety reasons. Guests are welcome to enjoy the many other resort amenities during their stay.

Things to Know
  • The community pool is open annually from the beginning of June to the end of August for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.
  • The Sanctuary HOA schedules structural upkeep during the off-season, blocking off certain sides of the buildings, making it unsafe for our guests to be on the balcony. The balcony may not be available for guests from October to mid-May.
  • This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC.

Such a beautiful unit. It was decorated very nicely and has a very big TV in the living room. The pool is a few steps from the patio door and just remodeled. The beds are very comfortable. We loved that the area was not too far from Va Beach, but still remote enough to feel secluded.

We had a wonderful time staying here while visiting the area! The unit was very comfortable for us four adults. The weather was not great but with the games and TV we really didn’t mind the rain showers. Staying on the first floor with the ability to run to the grill between raindrops was also huge plus. Thanks to the owners even if the weather is not great out they thought of everything to make our stay super fun and relaxing!! We will definitely come back and stay here again!!

We loved Salt Therapy! It is ideally located on the first floor and has patio access to community grills and a pool. The unit was decorated beautifully and was spacious. I definitely plan on staying here again!

My family and I loved our time at this beach condo! The beach decor is beautifully decorated and every thing you could possibly need or want is provided for your convenience and enjoyment (including a margarita maker!) The beach is very easy to access and one of the swimming pools is located just outside of your patio. There are gas grills in multiple locations that we used almost each night. The resort itself is safe and secure and the lifeguards are on duty at the ocean front. We enjoyed it as a family but it would also be a great place for a romantic getaway! There is a pier close by for sightseeing or fishing. There are beach shops on the "strip" with lots of gift and souvenir options. We will visit again.

Most adorable beach condo. These owners did it right with their gorgeous, coastal decorations, perfectly outfitted condo, and amazing location. We were 2 families with 3 little ones and this condo fit us perfectly. There was a little area in the living room that the kids could pull out their toys and play without tripping people, a highchair for feeding the littles one (and even a crib), a massive tv for watching movies together, and plenty of storage, seating, and sleeping throughout. The condo is on the first floor, so right outside the back door is the pool and grill area. The kitchen was fully stocked and there's even a washer/dryer. Everything a family (or two) could need for a relaxing vacation.
