Older house with great views. Terrific having a wood burning fireplace for off summer rental. TV on wall is way far from seating area though. Thank you for having Netflix. Downstairs room deserves a pool table or a ping pong table. Good for a single family rental.

It was a delightful place to stay with a perfect view of the ocean and took just the right amount of time to get to the beach; a short walk! The weather was not so nice so we stayed in most of the time and played games, cooked a lot of meals and watched movies. The house was big enough for the five of us to spread out when we needed space. A little too expensive for the two of us to pay the majority of it!
The only thing was we needed more measuring cups and spoons and regular wine glasses; so many champagne glasses. Also the Sandbridge Realty did not contact us to let us know they received my request to be reimbursed for the light bulbs and propane tank. I just got a check in the mail 10 days later. So I was kept wondering for 10 days. Everything else was great! A beautiful location and attractive deck.

Overall, great experience. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. The dining table accommodated all 9 of us comfortably, bedroom layout was good, private den downstairs doubled as a bedroom, washer and dryer were large and worked well, outdoor shower was great, deck is spacious and has lots of chairs. The beds were okay... the mattresses were very thin, but fairly comfortable. I always check for bedbugs, and there were no signs of them at all. Couches were extremely comfy. Kitchen was spacious and had lots of large pots/pans in good shape and plenty of silverware, plates, etc. I would say though, if you are used to high-end living or luxury suites, this house is not for you. It is dated, and much of the furniture (dressers, stools, benches, etc) are falling apart. The decor is eclectic and jarring. It would be difficult to thoroughly clean the place because of the amount of STUFF everywhere. And to be honest, it didn't feel like the cleaning staff did a great job prior to our arrival. However, if you can overlook those items (as we could), and think of it more like you're renting an old-ish cabin off of an artsy, eclectic friend, then it does have charm. It's also a good value for the money. I hope the owners make some simple updates (new ice maker, fix the microwave door, replace some of the broken furniture, etc), but even if they didn't, I would still stay again. Ocean view was great; the dune is kinda high there, but the seagrass growing on it enhances the view of the sunrises. Access was on a shared public access, but it was right beside the house, so that worked well. Be aware, as of summer 2020 the beach has been replenished and the walk to the water is long and hot. I recommend wearing socks to keep your feet from burning!
