Halloween is just a few weeks away and there are plenty of ways to celebrate here in Hampton Roads.

Haunted Hunt Club Farm

This is the 30th year for Haunted Hunt Club Farm, which runs now until October 31st. This annual festival features three main attractions- the Haunted Hayride, Village of the Dead, and Field of Screams. The most popular is the Haunted Hayride. Riders will be pulled by a tractor through a winding path in the woods and eventually past a decrepit old barn. If that wasn't scary enough, riders will have to deal with dozens of freakish inhabitants that lurk in the woods. The Field of Screams is a corn field maze filled with witches and creatures. The Village of the Dead takes place in a medieval village where you never know what's lurking behind the next corner.

Haunted Hunt Club farm is only open Fri-Sun but please check the website for more dates. As Halloween approaches, there will be more opportunities to experience Haunted Hunt Club Farm as they will have extended hours.

Glow in the Park

The Adventure Park at the Virginia Aquarium will be holding Glow in the Park on October 19. This is no ordinary climb as the park will be adorned with Halloween decorations. Ticket sales begin at 6PM end end at 8:20PM.

Zoo Boo at the Virginia Zoo

Zoo Boo offers families a safe environment to trick-or-treat. Festivities include costume contests, crafts, and ZooLive! presentations. The Zoo Boo Choo Choo, Bounce Houses, food and beverage will be available for an additional cost. This event takes place on October 27th and 28th from 10AM to 5PM. Admission is $6 for membes and $15 for non members. Children under 2 are free.

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream

If you have time for a day trip to Williamsburg, I would defintely recommend Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. Howl-O-Scream is without a doubt the most popular Haloween-themed event in Virginia. This is the 20th year for Howl-O-Scream and is guaranteed to be the scariest yet. Visitors will have a chance to experience haunted houses, scare zones, escape rooms and live shows. Please note that all kids attractions close at 5PM and Howl-O-Scream will begin promplty at 5:45PM.
